It is heaps of fun and a great new technique to learn. Hope to see you there,

Happy Australia Day

We had a lovely day today, lunching with friends and swimming in the gorgeous summer heat. It was a perfect day for Australia Day. If you are Aussie, I hope you had a great day too.

Now onto some pages to share. I have to say it always amazes me how I never get sick of this craft. Sure, my mojo disappears sometimes and I struggle to create anything. But most times my thoughts are always consumed with this fabulous hobby. Hmmm, is this a good thing?? Not sure but I love it anyway. I sat down and created these the other night:

My gorgeous bubby (who is no longer a bubby)

Love these Tim Holtz frames.

And Sam I am.

So it's nearly time for school to go back and while a small part of me is sad that it's all over, another part of me is happy to get back to a routine. Although my baby starts school next week and that makes me really sad. They are growing up far too fast.

Anyway, thanks for stopping by and have a fab week.

Let's Go Shopping

Just been on a little shopping trip while I eat my breakfast. Don't you love the way you can do that with the internet?

Go on over to check out the Moving Sale at The Stamp Spot. Heaps of bargains!! Got myself some more nestabilities (addicted to those things) and some Prima flowers. Can't wait to get them.

Now, off to Sydney to do some other retail therapy.

Bye

As promised....

....the other money wallet I made. Jack went to a birthday party today and he decided that the birthday boy would prefer money as his gift. So here is the 'packaging':

And here is inside:

Wedding Wallet

The other day I had a friend come over for some help with her wedding gift. She was presenting the lucky couple with some cash but wanted to present it nicely and make it a bit more personal. Here is what we came up with:

I love these Tattered Angel frames. They are FAB.

Here is the inside. One pocket for the money and one for the handwritten sentiments on a matching tag.

Made another really simple one tonight for a birthday party tomorrow. Will photograph and share soon.

Bye

Typo, new obssession

Found a new stationary shop to die for!!!! Its called Typo and I found it at Erina (but apparently can be found in many other locations across Aus). And they were born on my birthday last year! I feel that is an omen, meaning I MUST SHOP THERE :)

Description

Inspired by the hype of the stationery industry, The Cotton On Group brings you Typo, a one stop concept store with irresistible product to fill your space with confidence. Taking trends from the fashion industry and applying them to notebooks, decal wall art, printed gift wrap and other speciality items, Typo offers product with attitude, and as with all Cotton On Group brands, Typo is fast and affordable.

I found these divine little note books for a bargain sale price of $2.50 each. Already covered in fabulous hessian they were begging to be altered. So I stamped and tied a ribbon and presented one to my boss (hence the 'T').

Arn't they cute? Have altered a few more for special friends and can't wait to give them. I love giving presents, don't you? I have been playing tonight with some new Tim Holtz stamps and some lovely grungy stuff I had in my stash. Will come back to share them tomorrow when I can take pics.

Anyway, thanks for dropping by
See you
Alex

More grunge love

I love my job. Getting to see new goodies each time I go into the store is perfect. (I end up spending ALOT of what I earn though :)

Yesterday I finished the sample for the Grungeboard class. Love the swirly pieces.

And then I love using Pink Paislee papers. This is from the Cupid Collection.

Am going to work on the Valentines Day class with this paper range as well. It is definately a favourite.

Thanks for stopping by,
Alex
