Kaiser Drawers for Anything!!

I really like the new Beyond the Page Drawers that Kaiser have bought out recently. They are a great size and I can't wait to put all my little bits and pieces in them. I decorated mine with the Gypsy Sister papers and I just love the colours of it. I have also used the i-Top for some 'knobs' and need to finish it up at work with some labels made with the Cricut.
If you would like to do a set of drawers and have me help you, well you can. I am doing a workshop next week up at Pages 2 Scrap and you can have a set too if you join me. Call the store on 1300 664 228 to book in. Here are the details:

Gypsy Kaiser Drawers
Thursday 8th April
10.30am - 12.30pm
Cost: $45 includes drawers, paint and papers to decorate.

Would love to have you join me.

Meeting Andy Griffiths

Last year I took the boys to a book signing by Andy Griffiths because Jackson just loves his books. Finally got around to scrapping the photo (which was taken in such a rush to avoid holding the rest of the people in the line up!) with the Monstrosities range by Sassafrass Lass.
Just a quick shout out to let you know that I have started cleaning out my craft supplies and have put some Stampin' Up stamp sets on Ebay. You can find them here if you would like to see if there is anything you desire. And I will be loading up more over the next couple of weeks.

Thanks for dropping by,

Goodbye Stampin' Up

For those of you that still check over at my Stampin' Up Blog (gosh, is there anybody???) you will have already read the same thing I am about to write here.

Well the time has come to leave Stampin' Up and concentrate my crafting efforts elsewhere. The Mini Launch to be held on Monday 29th will be one of my very last Stampin' Up activities before my Demonstratorship gets cancelled on April 16th. I am being non-compliant with my blog here where I have links to where I work and design for. This is a breach of SU's agreement and I am not prepared to change it. As all my friends and customers know I love to educate and share with all different products and goodies. Not just one.

Thank you to all my friends and customers who supported me in my endeavours with Stampin' Up. I really appreciate your support and I am so glad that I met the amazing amount of papercrafters that I did during my journey. If you have any questions or NEED (it's always a need isn't it??) anything from the current catalogues before the 15th April please contact me at scrapalley@gmail.com.

I have some fabulous training opportunities coming up with Pages 2 Scrap over the coming months and I cannot wait to share them with you at the store (and of course my papercrafting efforts from the training here on the blog). It is really exciting and I am looking forward to this next step in this hobby that has become my job (YAY!!).

Thanks for stopping by and I will be back to share some crafting goodness tomorrow.

Is it really Easter next week?

Man this year is flying by already. Haven't even dragged my Easter decorations out yet (yes, I have Easter deco's - I love decorating for anything!).

Here is a page I completed the other day. It is a photo of Nathan from his birthday last year when he received a new bike. (Will share his birthday page in the next couple of days as he celebrated his 5th birthday this week). Can't believe another year has gone by.

I love these gears and cogs from Tim Holtz.
And my love affair with Thickers continues.
Thought I would let you know about my classes coming up. This Saturday I am teaching Stamping Techniques. It is a fun class playing with all sorts of stamping goodies. Learn how to emboss, heat and stick glitter plus more. Details:

Saturday 27th @ 2.00pm - $20 (you don't need to bring anything)

Then I am doing a Mens Card Making Class. Yep, they are the hardest to do sometimes aren't they? But we will be using Graphic 45 goodies that are fantastic for mens cards. Details:

Tuesday 30th @ 10.30am - $28 (includes enough goodies to make 6 cards plus leftovers)

Call the store on 1300 664 228 to book into either or both classes. I would love to see you there.

Bye for now

A Smile You Can't Wipe

I was really excited to receive my copy of the latest Scrapbooking Memories magazine. I have never been published in this mag before and just before Christmas they contacted me to ask if I would like to contribute an article on embossing. Well sure. Why not?

Here it is:
That's my gorgeous boys there in print. (They are chuffed about it btw). It's always exciting to see something you have created in print for everyone to see and share. And thank you to those of you that have taken the time to contact me and let me know that you saw it. I appreciate it. I am in this business to share and inspire and I hope that I do that to you guys who check out my blog here.

Thanks for stopping by,

Happy Birthday J

The other day was my eldest's birthday and he has reached double figures. How did that happen?

I decided a while ago that cards for birthday's etc were wasted on my family of boys. They were not overly appreciated or kept so it seemed a little pointless in doing them. So I came up with the idea to scrap them an 8 x 8 page for each birthday and that way I have a momento to go in their albums each year.

I write a personal message on the back of each one so that in years to come they can read my messages and they are there for future generations.
It is always a rather simple page and done at the 11th hour. But I think it is a great idea for a family who houses a scrapbooker. And the boys seem to like it :)

Darkroom Door Accordion Album

Among celebrating my sons birthday, I spent this weekend finishing off some class samples for Pages 2 Scrap. Wanna see?

This is an accordion album that is housed in the cutest darn tin by Darkroom Door. I used photos from our day out at the Tree Top Adventure park in the Ourimbah State Forest. (But for the class you can use any photos)
The class is on Thursday 25th March at 10.30am. A great way to spend the morning while the kids are at school, don't you think?

Next I finished a little album that I used the Geo-Hectic range by We Are Memory Keepers. I love these papers and embellishments. They are so much fun for boys.
This class is not until 22nd April, but how organised am I to have the sample done already??? I am so pleased with myself (can you tell?).

If you want to come and join me at any of these classes (or any other mentioned over on the side bar) then contact the store on 1300 664 228.

Thanks for dropping by, will be back to share more soon.

DT Contributions

I haven't shared my Stamp Spot contributions in a while. I blog over there (always at the eleventh hour!) and forget to bring them over here to share too.

Here are my last two cards:
Love the Melissa Frances rub-ons.
Here is today's card. Nestabilities are my friends :) Love 'em.
Have a great weekend.

Ok, back to craft

Life has been extremely hectic lately. And finding time to craft has been hard. I just tried to organise a movie night and it was darn near impossible............what is with that??? I am facing a month of birthdays, birthdays and birthdays along with all the usual kids activities and classes at work. But I love to share here so here is a page I made lately.

This photo was taken by my seven year old on my birthday last year. And that cake in the foreground is a HUGE cupcake made by my gorgeous Mum.
And this large brad.................was made with my new I-top by Imaginisce. I love this thing. It makes a mean fabric brad too!!
And here I have stamped with Stazon ink onto acetate to make my own clear embellishment.
Thanks for stopping by and I have some more crafting goodies on the go to share with you soon.

Bye,
