Easter workshop BOOKED!

Ok, so my plan for today was to share another sneak peek with you for the Easter Egg-stravaganza so that the last couple of spots could be booked up to make a full class.  However, two lovely ladies have taken the spots just this afternoon, so it is now FULLY BOOKED!  Yay!  Can't wait to share my ideas with these ladies.

So anyway, I might just share another little something we will be making next week..........just to get in the Easter spirit.  Here is one of the cards we will be making using a cute little vintage image and some crepe paper.

Now, since that workshop is fully booked and I can't take anymore - how about I share a sneak peek with you for the next workshop I am holding.  This workshop is a night time one due to school holidays beginning at the end of next week (what the???).  How fast is this year going already??????  And it is a 12x12 Scrapbook Page using Teresa Collins papers.   Details are below the sneak peek.  Let me know if you would like to book in, spots are sure to go fast.

"You're A Star" Scrap Page
Friday 15th April
7.30pm - 9.30pm
$20

Contact me at scrapalley@gmail.com or txt me on 0414 444 150 to book your spot.  (Spaces are limited).  I would love to have you here.

Papertrey Fun

Yesterday I got together with my friends, Miss G and Deb to have a Papertrey Create Day.  We have been purchasing a 'little' bit of fun from them recently and decided that instead of shopping we should play with the product (however Debbie didn't get that memo, she shopped again!!!).  LOL, it was a great day, however I only achieved a couple of cards.  Hmmm, must have something to do with all the talking!!
I love this paper and stamp set.  The sentiments include HUGE words (ie. Hey There) and smaller ones to compliment them.  This set is called Big & Bold Wishes.  And the little swirly circles are from the Delightful Doilies set.
And this one was made with a set Georgina bought called Button Boutique.  We purchased some inexpensive chipboard coasters and cut the buttons out with the Papertrey Die.  Then stamped with the Delightful Doilies set again.  Took the Cuttlebug to the background and voila!

I love Papertrey Ink products and before you ask, no you can't buy them in Australia.  You need to buy direct from the company as this is the only way they sell.  And while postage is not small, we feel the quality, designs and fun products they have are worth going thirds in the postage to get something we love.  So I am sure we will be shopping there again soon.

Thanks for stopping by,

Papertrey Stamps and Papers

..............mmmmmm yummy!!  I told you I would be back with some creations made from our Papertrey Ink delivery the other day.  I played with Beautiful Blooms II and Mega Mixed Messages today and the Beautiful Blooms paper that match.  Such fun, bright and funky colours to play with.

Here they are separately:
In this one I used the blooms to create the background pattern, then some Webster's Pages bloom trim and a Fiskar's border punch.

More Websters trim and a doily.  Love doiley's.

I love, love, love this background paper.

And this background paper.  So cute.........and bright.

A Quote that Touches

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails.

Good friends and a Sneak Peek

Today I had such a productive and fun day, I love days like those.  I pottered around my house and got things done that have been put off for ever and then had a lovely unplanned visit from my two dear friends for the unpacking of a goodie box.  We had ordered a bunch of stuff from Papertrey Ink and were too excited to wait any longer than one day to get together to open it.  But I will share more of what was in the box after tomorrow.

The morning visit turned into a photo session for us to have photos to use in a class we are going to on Friday.  We started out trying to be serious, however that didn't last too long.

It was a ton of giggles and silly fun.  I had a blast and feel very blessed to have these two in my life.

Between household things and laughing a whole bunch I have been busy designing my samples for my new classes at home.  Here is a sneak peek of the first Ippity Stamp Club project:

Doesn't it look bright and fun?  I am really having fun with this workshop, and would love it if you could come along.  Just contact me to let me know that you will be here.

Thanks for stopping by,
Cheers

Big Changes & Stamp Classes at Lisarow

Yesterday I resigned.  I will no longer be working in the store or teaching at Pages 2 Scrap.  Thank you to everyone who has shown their concern with the kind messages I have received since yesterday.  I have been overwhelmed by the response and support.  The one thing I will miss is the interacting with the wonderful customers I met while there and talking about the products three days a week.  However, my teaching will not stop.  I will continue to teach cardmaking and scrapbooking here in my home on the Central Coast and anywhere else that I am asked to teach as I am now free to do so.

So here are some details of what is coming up.  As you may already know I have signed on to bring Ippity Stamps into Australia from the US.  They are fantastic stamps that are made by Unity and are only available through home and blog sales.  They can not be found in retail outlets.  So click HERE for a link to my Ippity blog for a shop around and let me know if you would like some of these great stamps.  Alternatively, if you live close to the Central Coast of NSW you can come along to my workshops where you will receive your very own Ippity stamp set to take home, make a bunch of projects and have a good time with other crafters.

Thursday 24th March - 10.00am - 12.00pm
Thursday 24th March - 7.30pm - 9.30pm
Call me on 0414 444 150 for location details.

Next I have an Easter Eggs-travaganza Class where we will be making some fun gifts and cards for Easter.  We will make a gorgeous little gift box to house some chocolate goodies, a bakers bag, tags and cards for the ones you love.

Tuesday 5th April - 10.00am - 12.30pm
Cost $20
Call me on 0414 444 150 for location details.

Sneek Peeks of projects will follow very soon.  I would love to have you join me and I am really excited about sharing lots and lots of fun techniques and products with you in the comfort of my home.  Please email me at scrapalley@gmail.com if you have any questions.
